Our farms are run on sustainable principles. As well as providing a year-round, premium quality and affordable food source, they help prevent the overfishing of wild fish stocks.
After careful research, we currently have two sheltered sea-sites and four exposed sea-sites covering 730,000 square metres in the pristine seas of Trincomalee in Eastern Sri Lanka. Here we currently farm Barramundi, a delicacy with a high Omega 3 content. We plan to include a variety of marine species to be added to our portfolio in the future.
This is a joint venture with Kames Fish Farming Limited, a Scottish fish farming company with 40 years of experience in aquaculture, who work closely with our own experienced team. It is also a Board of Investment project with a four year tax holiday.
As part of the Aberdeen group of companies, we are committed towards our environment and maintaining eco-friendly ethos.
